Adult Sunday School
Two adult Sunday school classes will be offered starting on September 10. The first class is a study of Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount. Course content will be directly correlated with the sermon each Sunday and will encourage participants to look more in depth at Jesus’ words in his Sermon on the Mount as well as explore the ways that Jesus’ teachings can guide our daily lives. This class will meet in Fellowship Hall during the Sunday school hour and the teachers will be Matt Harbaugh (September and October), Marie Bowen (November and December), Rick Dayton (January and February), Nancy Kriek (March and April), and Mark Connelly and Jim Saraceno (May and June).
The second adult Sunday school class will be The Wired Word. A modern issue or current event will be highlighted each week and studied and discussed from a Biblical perspective. Mike Radich will teach this class which will meet in the Cornerstone Room during the Sunday school hour.
All adult Sunday school classes will meet each week except for the following dates: October 22 (Stewardship Progressive Breakfast), December 3 (Advent), December 24 (Christmas Eve), December 31 (New Year’s Eve), and May 20 (The Church has Left the Building).
