Emily was born and raised in the North Hills of Pittsburgh. In high school she discovered the joy of sharing the Gospel with children of all ages. Before starting college she completed a youth ministry internship at her local church. While working towards her BA in Religion she spent two summers as a counselor for Summers Best Two Weeks day camp. This time solidified her passion for children’s ministries. After graduating from Westminster College in New Wilmington, PA Emily worked in the business world for several years before finally returning to children and family ministry where her heart lies. Emily and Jason are amazed daily by their young son Robby. He has taught them so much about God’s love.

Ron grew up in Crafton, PA.  At the age of 7, his grandfather, August Frisch, who had recently retired following a career with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and KDKA radio, began teaching him piano.  A few years later, Ron was asked to accompany his church choir.  When he was 16, an interest in playing the organ was discovered and he took lessons from his grandfather and a few local organists.  He then was hired as the organist (and eventually Director of Musical Outreach) at Emanuel United Methodist Church in the West End of Pittsburgh in 1998 and served there until the end of 2012.  Following his time at Emanuel, Ron was the organist at Elfinwild Presbyterian Church from January 2013 until October 2014 and the Director of Music Ministries at Sharon Sharon Community Presbyterian Church in Moon Township from October 2014 until September 2015.

Ron is also the Executive Director of a non-profit organization called the Creative Arts Renewal Effort or C.A.R.E. programs which offer music and the arts to children throughout the Greater Pittsburgh Area.  As a part of the C.A.R.E. program, Ron runs Mr. Ron's Music School in Crafton which offers lessons in piano, voice and organ.

He and wife Patti live in Crafton with their four children, August, Rebecca, Richard and Joseph.
